Elliot is possibly Djuna’s oldest friend, and consequently her earliest collaborator. He has been studying painting at Columbus College of Art & Design where, on breaks from his real assignments, he has developed a portfolio of abstract paintings which will be animated, and used to create a textured, imaginative representation of the child’s transitional world in Falling Up.
